Kell is an extinct stratovolcano that is located in the middle of a 4 km wide caldera. This caldera being named Prizrak caldera. This volcano is located north of Zhelotovsky volcano. Very little is know about this caldera because if its remote and inaccessible location. The caldera form the air shows three depressions each around 3 to 5 km in diameter. The innermost portion of the caldera is occupied by small stratovolcanoes the largest being that of Kell volcano. Not traces of recent volcanism or hydrothermal activity has been detected so far in this caldera.

Some other volcanoes in this area are: Kambalny, Koshelev, Pauzhetka, and Ilyinsky.
