Mihara-yama. The active cinder cone in the caldera. Mihara-yama was formed by the 1777-1778 eruption of Oshima. The black solidifed lava on the slope is the 1986 lava flow.

Both photos show the 1986 lava and thick scoria from the fissure in the caldera, northeastern part of the caldera floor.
