The new village of Sudimoro (no photo) was built to relocate victims of Turgo Village. Turgo Village was destroyed by pyroclastic flows on November 22, 1994. The new village has 131 houses for 396 residents. The government has provided 136 cows as an incentive to move to the new village. Some people remain in the old village so that they can live near their fields and traditional lands.
