TM image of Volcan Aucanquilcha. The débris flow (DF) from the western flank is one of the most conspicuous features and is characterised by a lineated and grooved surface topography, possiby indicating a high water content. Young postglacial lavas (LF) extending from beneath the snow on the southern flank. These overlie the 10,000 yr old moraines (M).
