Bob became involved with VW while a graduate student in Space Studies at the
University of North Dakota while researching asteroid space policy and lunar science data harmonization. He is currently a Geography PhD student at Oregon State University attempting to quantify the relationship between lava flow composition and remotely sensed morphology. Bob also works the Cassini SAR science Team with famed JPL volcanologist Dr. Rosaly Lopes and VW founder Chuck Wood analyzing surface features on Titan returned from the Cassini mission.
As the VW webmaster since 2004, Bob has oversaw the rebirth and two full redesigns of Volcano World including the addition of several new features including Google Earth placemarks, RSS Site Feeds, and the VW Blog.
