Jon Nelson (Co-I) is the administrator of the Instructional Services Division of the Educational Services District 112, an arm of the Washington state school system. He has more than 15 years experience in developing innovative educational training courses using TV, distance learning, videodisks, computers, software, and Internet. Jon oversaw the transferral of existing curriculum materials concerning Mount St. Helens to formats usable by VW, and helped establish a "classroom to classroom" activity via VW.
