Lava-Sicles

Along the cave walls you can find globular-looking lava stalactites. These are known as "lava-sicles."
Most stalactites are formed from drips of water. Lava-sicles are different. Hot gases were trapped inside the lava tube. These remelted the ceiling and walls, and the drips formed small deposits which became lava-sicles.
