As the cave began to cool, it cracked. Some hard pieces fell off. One large lava boulder took a ride down the cave. It floated on top of the still flowing lava. |
| This lava boulder got stuck between ledges. The flow drained from the lava tube, and left the lava ball 10 feet overhead. |
